"As parents, we love Wheels of Life and the progressive education our daughter receives. She is supported and challenged in her academics and to be an engaged and loving citizen of her school community and beyond. The Wheels of Life curriculum teaches academics through traditional and creative means, and explores Spanish, drama, guitar and keyboard through free choice in the afternoons. They emphasize health and self-care through daily cooking. She has gained the skill to recognize and use her democratic voice, and has learned tools for conflict resolution, which she employs both at school and at home. The children follow their passions through independent study, and commit to the broader community through group service projects. Wheels of Life promotes good citizenship by encouraging uniqueness and compassion within its walls so that students are confident to be their amazing selves outside these boundaries. We couldn't think of a better use of our resources, as our daughter is laying a foundation that will serve her future." -Erin Malone, Mama of 2nd year student |
