Summer Camps

Registration Forms

Six age appropriate weeklong sessions from Wheels of Life School

All camps will have low leader/learner ratio and will utilize our Schoolhouse and Outdoor Learning Site. Activities may include yoga, treasure hunts, pond life, biking, map making, costume design & storytelling.

Tunnels, Tubes, and Treasures: June 16-20 (3-5 yrs.)
We will spending the whole week finding loot, digging, hiding, map making, role playing, clue following, creating, and code breaking!
I anticipate suspense from the group every day of the week! Ideal for builders, pirates, spies, and detectives (and any other kids who fancy themselves clever and a little sneaky!)

Your Moving Body: June 23-27 (3-5 yrs.)
This will be a week of MOVING! Dance, yoga, stretching, running, climbing, swinging, rolling, crawling, spinning, jumping- you name it, we will do it.
Lots of time outside, singing, making music, and moving our bodies. Perfect for someone that likes to move or make music and wants to share their expertise!

Dog Days of Summer: June 30- July 3 (3-5 yrs.)
Picnics, water balloons, face painting, crafting, trail walking, talent shows, popsicles, sing-alongs, freeze tag, story-telling, dance parties, lemonade, fort building...what more could anyone want?!
We will be living it up, doing ALL the quintessential summertime stuff, having a blast just being us! In addition to all of the things I have planned, each kid will have a chance to talk about their favorite summer activity and lead the group in it! Happiness guaranteed.

Let your Creatures Out!: July 7-11 (4-10 yrs.)

Creating the creatures of our dreams or just embellishing those we already love. We will tell stories, make puppets, masks, and sculptures, make our own food chain and games with it. Our creature friendly camp will be the most complex habitat you have ever visited! Taught by Kari Gill and Lilly McCampbell

Ride into Summer: July 21-25 (7-10 yrs)

Campers must be well coordinated on their bicycle. We will ride from the school ½ block to the Whatcom Railroad Trail. Each day our adventure will ride a bit farther with our end at a spot to play- such as soccer and big games in a field, pond studies, tree climbing, creek splashing, and a treasure hunt on our furthest destination!

Map and Compass: July 28-31 (6-10 yrs.)

Starting with a basic map of your house and ending with reading a GPS signal for finding hidden treasures, your child will have the chance to create, read, and use navigational tools to understand more about their world.

Time: 10am-2pm Mon.–Fri. Cost: $125-$150/week
Registration deadline: May 15, 2008
